Founder, Zayyar Win Thein realised there was a gap in the market for a customer centric model and wanted to bring his knowledge and passion to the industry. “Personally I found it a struggle to purchase quality vintage or second hand watches here in New Zealand. I was either overpaying by a large sum or I was having to deal with pawnbrokers or TradeMe sellers. I thought to myself why isn’t there a better option in the market that serves watch buyers? I definitely want more people in my demographic to love and appreciate watches as much as I do and create an open environment for purchasing, sharing and communication. It shouldn’t matter if you spend $500 or $15,000, what matters is that you appreciate what you purchase.”
