  1. My mum didn’t treat me very well so I want to comment about my mother in law who really taught me the power of love and kindness. My favourite memory is her coming to pick me up from my house and taking me for a day of pampering starting with a luxury spa massage, and ending with the most beautiful high tea just for the two of us. When we left she handed me an envelope with a hand written letter about how happy she was that I was her daughter in law. I cried all the way home.

  2. My mum turned up to school and confronted a bully that had been causing me grief for months. She had contacted the school many times and they hadn’t done anything so she took it on herself to deal with it. At first I was mortified and embarrassed but then I realised that she had done this out of pure love and stood up for me. Mum wasn’t rude at all – just explained how mean the girl’s behaviour was. From then on the bullying stopped and I was so much happier
