  1. When I had my twins three years ago I suffered some major complications. Mum moved into the hospital with me and cared for the twins so that I could have them with me. She got up and did night feeds and had to spend a few weeks on the maternity ward even though she was in her 60s! It was a really hard time in my life but also a real special time as Mum and I had lots of special time together to laugh and to cry. We were quite a team and to this day she has a really magical bond with my twins which I just love seeing!

  2. My fondest memory with my mum was when she drove me to the airport when I was about to go to study overseas. I was 17, going to a new country by myself, in a different continent, with no family and friends. She was very strong, and never once she hesitated on supporting my decision and what I want. She had to go through a lot and work so hard to be able to do this for me, especially when she herself did not have any higher education degree.
In the airport, she didn’t want to cry. Instead, she said how proud she was of me and that I should not be worried of her. She is my number one supporter, and I cannot say how amazing she is!

  3. My fondest memory that I had with my mum was when I would wait outside the gates of kindergarten waiting for her to arrive after an adventurous day according to a 5 year old. She would pick me up and we would walk home together passing the dairy. I could pick a ice cream ranging from the classics like Rocky road and Jelly tip. We would walk pass the golf range and spoke of our little adventures that we encountered during the day. This may sound basic to most but to me for a little 5 year old to even now has shaped my future encounters and experiences that I will preciously keep safe with me always. Thank you mum <3
