DOC EDGE FESTIVAL

This Oscar-qualifying documentary festival has 43 feature-length films, 23 shorts and 28 immersive projects from local and international filmmakers. Celebrated for its commitment to feature pieces of storytelling that inspire, educate and challenge perspectives. The festival can be attended in person through select cinemas across Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington or virtually nationwide.

TAKAPUNA WINTER LIGHTS

25 – 28 July

Treat yourself and your pup over the weekend by heading to this monthly canine-friendly event. You’ll find stalls of dog snacks and gifts, photoshoots, training sessions and friends. For those without a dog, the Saving Hope Foundation will also have puppies available to cuddle! A portion of the proceeds go towards their rescue and rehabilitation efforts.
