What was the inspiration behind the launch and production of a skincare line?
I’ve made this knowledge public recently. But I have, for the past several years, had a pretty self-destructive substance abuse problem. I admitted myself to hospital, followed by rehab. One of the clinicians told me that after you get, and stay, clean and sober, some of the damage such as premature ageing, redness and inflammation can slowly fade and the ‘light in your eyes and life in your body will slowly come back’.
However, the damage I had done to myself was pretty obvious. I’m currently 28, but I’ve been mistaken for, and clearly look to be in my mid to late 30s. Even looking at photos of myself at previous family gatherings or social events. I was ageing rapidly from year to year, followed by month to month. This naturally became the motivation to take better care of myself, and led to the inspiration to develop a formula that would repair, regenerate and restore the skin. Your own little fountain of youth! So I invite and encourage everyone to try our range, as it’s done wonders for myself and Paz.
