Jordan Rondel, also known as The Caker, took what was once a made-to-order bakery and turned it into a food brand that pushes the limits of the culinary world – blending it with fashion, beauty, and culture.
This cake is in honour of all of those endless, bright, summery golden days. It is packed with ground almonds, fresh lemon, amaretti biscuit pieces, and apricots, and covered in dreamy vanilla bean cream cheese icing.
Jordan Rondel started The Caker in 2010, which she now runs with her sister Anouk after she left her job as a lawyer. Based in Los Angeles, the pair spend all their time together, as sisters, best friends and business partners
