How did you discover astrology?
Approaching adulthood, I was immediately drawn into this field that encompass the planets while connecting with the workings of our Earthly lives. I’m fascinated by the human condition, the curious accumulation of our defining traits and tendencies. Why are we instantly drawn to some, yet repelled by others? Why do we befriend those born in the same week or month? Why do we react and communicate the way we do? Why do we make fortunes in some business periods but not others? It’s all there in one’s natal chart. Astrology was the only thing that really stuck with me, and it took me a long time to realise it was a valid way of working. I was fascinated how with the help of a few charts and tables, astrologers could forecast about people’s pasts, presents and futures of persons. It made me curious and excited.
Is astrology linked to fortune telling?
Astrology is one of fortune telling’s main fields—the primary means through which we can gauge the future. Other fields include tarot reading, palmistry and numerology.
Each month you send your predictions which are often so correct—it must be incredibly satisfying to hear this?
For 25 years, my clients have benefitted immensely from my predictions. It is greatly satisfying that Verve readers find my predictions useful, directing them along a positive path every month.

I have been practising KP astrology, tarot reading and numerology for 25 years. I previously worked as an officer in Punjab National Bank but took voluntary retirement to pursue my passion for astrology. I write zodiac forecast for 25 international magazines, with the love of readers from many countries. Success grew with each passing day—I believe perseverance, focus and passion bridge the gap between success and failure.

Zodiac signs do matter in relationships, but the first and foremost thing is to match the horoscopes of both persons who wish to pursue a relationship. There are certain principles in astrology which show compatibility, or otherwise, of both people.
What’s the perfect zodiac match?
There is no such thing as ‘perfect zodiac match’. Two horoscopes must be compatible with each other as per astrology principles so that the relationship is sustainable for an everlasting bond.
How does an astrologer tell a person about their life?
By studying a person’s horoscope and by studying various combination of houses and planets. Every house has been allotted certain functions, like the first house for life and personality; the second house for income and family; the fifth house for relationships, and so on. A horoscope must be studied in depth to analysis how a person’s life will be.
What is a horary astrology chart?
Horary astrology is useful when one does not have time of birth, place of birth, and date of birth. One specific question is asked, and a number from the client is taken from one to 249. An horary astrology chart is prepared by then taking that number into account.
What’s the best way to choose an astrologer?
You need to search and know about the credibility of the astrologer beforehand. They should have a good reputation, be knowledgeable, have a spiritual outlook, and be skilled and intuitive enough to guide you well.
