How did you get started with No Bad Days and what has your journey been like so far?

I had a lot of bad skin days, and it really affected my confidence for years. It got to the point where I would avoid social situations just so I wouldn’t have to be seen. Nothing seemed to work for my skin and to be honest, I was very overwhelmed with the long ingredient lists on skincare products that I couldn’t understand. During Covid lockdown, I began experimenting with natural ingredients and formulations in my own kitchen, and that’s where the Himalayan Pink Salt Spray was born. As my skin improved, I realised I wanted to share this experience with others and help them feel confident in their skin. It’s been an incredible journey so far, and I’m excited to see where it takes me and the brand in the future.

Can you talk more about the products that No Bad Days offers?

Our main products are the Himalayan Pink Salt Daily Facial Spray with Watermelon and the Soothing & Clarifying Clay Mask. The Facial Spray is a refreshing and hydrating mist that reduces redness and blemishes, while the kaolin base clay mask draws out impurities and toxins without dehydrating the skin. We also offer accessories such as a beauty bag, applicator brush, headband, and remover pad to enhance the skincare experience.

What sets your brand apart from other skincare lines?

Our focus on natural ingredients, education, and holistic wellbeing is what sets us apart. We craft our products to nourish and improve the skin while encouraging relaxation and self-care. Additionally, we prioritise transparency with our customers by listing every ingredient and explaining their purpose and benefits so everyone can make informed decisions about what is best for their own skin.

What has been the most rewarding part of starting your own business?

Every time I get a new Instagram DM from a customer. It’s very validating to know that the products are received well, people enjoy using them and they actually work. It’s been a privilege to create a brand that aligns with my personal values and helps others feel confident in their skin.

What are your future goals for the business?

I would like it to become a trusted and recognised skincare brand in New Zealand and around the world empowering women to feel comfortable and confident in their own skin. I already have the next products in mind, and I’m thrilled about the potential and possibilities that lie ahead.

What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs starting a business?

Stay true to your values and vision, celebrate small wins, and be adaptable and open to learning. With perseverance and willingness to take risks, anything is possible.
