Peugeot 308

Verve falls for the all-new  Peugeot 308.

What did we like about the Peugeot 308? We loved the look of it, the design, and the fresh new colour. It looks solid, feels solid and drives so well, even timid drivers will feel confident on all surfaces in any conditions. And it’s a real standout on the road.

Then there’s the comfort: sitting in the driver’s seat feels akin to sitting in a pleasant hug: snug, safe, and secure. The passenger seats are the same.

The onboard computer is amazing and can do almost anything – except drive the car.  Intuitive and easy to use, little instruction was needed to get to grips with its functionality and it rapidly became our on-road best friend.

The run to Mawhiti from the Waiheke Ferry was quick and easy, with no concerns about room for all our bags and bits and pieces as the boot is sufficiently roomy (good for several suitcases). But one of the features we loved most was the

sunroof – so good during these fair-weather days of summer.

Easy to drive, responsive, and a classy ride, the Peugeot 308 simply charmed us.
