“The feedback for Mikko Men’s as a concept was incredibly strong. We were hearing that men wanted more durability, technical innovation and sophisticated style without compromising on comfort,” says founder Michaela Longstaff.
Like Mikko Women’s, the Men’s offering comprises a unique mix of premium, high-quality brands.
“Many of our customers will recognise men’s footwear brands they have purchased from overseas and haven’t been able to purchase before in New Zealand. We have carefully selected over a dozen international brands, many of which are exclusive to Mikko Men’s in New Zealand.”
Since opening in Christchurch in September, Mikko Men’s has taken off, and now, the team have opened their first Auckland store in Remuera.
