Wanaka’s Edgewater hotel has recently launched their new Lakeview Deluxe One-Bedroom Suites which have been designed as a luxury retreat, just in time for your summer holidays.
They are like Edgewater’s popular one-bedroom apartments however, the deluxe suites feature a larger bathrooms with twin basins, twin nozzle showers and separate deep baths.
It is the decor in the bedroom and living area that really sets it apart. General manager, Catherine Bone has carefully selected the very finest furniture and fittings in these suites to give them a luxurious feel. “All the items have been bought locally, the aim being to inject some added style to the suites,” comments Catherine. “The bed throws and lounge cushions are made from authentic Southern tartan”
The deluxe suites open directly to a patio allowing guests to roam spacious lawns, well-tended gardens and explore the lake edge. Edgewater is Wanaka’s only accommodation directly on the shores of Lake Wanaka. Guests can directly access the lake-edge multi-purpose bike and walking trail.
The hot, dry Wanaka summers are ideal for guests to enjoy the sparkling lake by taking a lake cruise, SUP, kayaking, fishing, and water-skiing to name a few activities.
Guests in the deluxe suites of course have access to all of the amenities at Edgewater including Elements Day Spa, two all-weather tennis courts, mountain bikes (small hire charge for the bikes), free car park, free wi-fi, on-site concierge, and heli-landing pad.
