Have you evolved your makeup and skincare like you do with your fashion or are you still using the same products and colours you used 10 years ago? Have you ever learnt proper techniques for applying product to your brows or eyelids, or is it just slap, dash and hope for the best?
Renowned makeup artists Gabrielle Jones and Dianne Ensor have decided it is time there was training available for women aged 40 and over, so have launched a Makeup Masterclass Series designed specifically with them in mind.
From within the training rooms of the highly regarded The Makeup School in Ponsonby, women can sip on a glass of bubbles while learning from these industry leaders about simple techniques and tricks in skincare and makeup to help them look their best. With over 20 years experience working in the film, television and beauty industries, the tutors know their stuff.
“We are constantly being asked for advice by women wanting to know what they should be doing when it comes to their makeup and skincare,” says Gabrielle Jones, co-founder and director of The Makeup School.
“Everything changes as we get older and it’s important to talk about what we are all experiencing and to find ways we can look and feel better. It’s not about trying to be young again, but about empowering women to feel and be the best version of themselves. We find women are very open to an unbiased opinion and are willing to embrace changes in their regimes if they get the opportunity.”
“Not only are these Masterclasses loaded with valuable and practical information, they are also designed to be fun and interactive,” adds Dianne Ensor, co-founder and director at The Makeup School.
“We really wanted to create the type of evening that we would like to attend ourselves! We hope we have achieved this with a relaxed, intimate environment where women can come on their own or with friends and enjoy themselves.
“The makeup artist tutor demonstrates expert tips and tricks with application through to colours and products on live models. We discuss everything from over plucked eyebrows, to updating your foundation and lipstick.”
40+ MAKEUP MASTERCLASS LAUNCHES
