Leanne of Illuminate Me swears by her SRS machine and I was over the moon when asked to experience a series of these magical treatments.
When Leanne approached Verve, and asked if one of us would like to experience the SRS treatment, I put my hands up because I had read that it was a non-invasive treatment, and that is attractive to me. When I arrived for my first treatment, Leanne took a couple of photographs of my face — a side profile and a front image — so that we could witness the before and after. The high-tech machine works on facial muscles and bone to address the loss of both firmness and bone mass loss that comes with age. A meso gel conductor working at 3000 cycles per second was applied with a hand piece and rubbed over my skin. I was a little hesitant because being 66-years-old I thought there was nothing that could actually help me other than perhaps a face lift, which is something I would never contemplate. I have always taken care of my skin (as it’s the only one we get!), and continuously moisturised. It’s something I am known for in the office — I often hear girls say, “Here she goes again with her fourth moisturiser for the day.” And it may only be 1pm!
I was a little nervous because it is a commitment, but to my surprise I took to it like a duck to water, each week looking forward to the next treatment. My skin felt moist, glowing and as though something good was happening following each session.
