The greatest beauty concern for many of our clients is what to do about their greying hair. Again and again we are asked how can I transition out of the four-week regrowth maintenance. It’s expensive and time consuming. We think we have come up with the perfect solution.
Foxing
This technique, unique to Bettjemans, exaggerates the natural effects of sunlight and the outdoors by significantly lightning the ends of the hair. This, in effect, reverses the great regrowth problem by giving the illusion of darker roots. Most grey hair has a proportion of natural darker hair mixed with the white hair, creating a shadow at the roots. FOXING works best on short or mid-length layered hair.
Our philosophy is to combine this funky colour with a stylish edgy cut. FOXING is only required every other haircut, lasting a good 12 weeks. It’s a quick service taking only 30 minutes to complete, although depending on how much dark we have to remove the first visit can take a little longer.
