Aucklanders heading to the Bay of Plenty this Easter weekend – get ready to hop to it! Woolworths is bringing its deliciously popular Hot Cross Bun Food Truck to Mt Maunganui and is keen to see how far people will go to get their hands on its bun-derful range.
In addition to serving its classic, crowd-favourite varieties with a choice of toppings, the food truck will have a strictly limited number of highly coveted Woolworths hot cross buns made with Cadbury Caramilk packs up for grabs – what’s more, they’re completely free of charge! Having already sold out at many stores around the motu, this indulgent treat – exclusive to Woolworths – is packed with generous chunks of creamy Caramilk chocolate, making it the perfect way to elevate any Easter spread.
Woolworths has nine versions of hot cross buns this year, from gluten-free to traditional, brioche style chocolate to fruitless. And to sweeten the deal, 5c from every pack of their in-store baked range will be donated to KidsCan – just look for the KidsCan message on the pack.
