HOKA interviews Jude, who has just come out of her plaster and moon boot after a fractured metacarpal and has been wearing HOKA shoes ever since.
Why did you choose HOKA?
I fractured my metacarpal and was concerned that I needed to find a shoe that would support my recovery.
Given your situation, how comfortable did you find the shoe?
The HOKA shoe was recommended to me by The Shoe Clinic who had said that they believed this was the best shoe for me to help my support and balance. It was a the perfect shoe for my recovery.
What was appealing to you about the shoe?
I love these shoes because a lot of the shoes that are good for walking and are supportive are multi coloured—this shoe is monotone and appealed. It felt light, soft when walking in them. I felt very supported. They offer you a rock and roll motion which have maximum cushioning and are perfect for running, hiking and walking.
Would you recommend Hoka to others?
Whether you are recovering from an injury or just after a comfortable well designed shoe with great support I would highly recommend these. Don’t worry if you are an amateur walking or someone more serious about running footwear these shoes are worth investigating.
