Put on your Santa hat and immerse yourself in Christmas cheer by participating in Verve’s Gift a Bag Campaign this holiday season!
All you need to do is dip into your closet and dig out an old bag you no longer use. Next, fill the bag with necessities and (unopened) toiletries that can be used by women and teenage girls in need. Remember to also attach a personalised holiday message to truly spread the season’s joy.
Milford Centre is generously donating a $400 gift card to be placed in one of the hundreds of bags so that a lucky bag recipient can enjoy a fabulous summer shopping spree.
For many of the women and teenage girls receiving these bags, it will be the only gift they’re given over the holiday period so your donation will have a momentous impact.
Last year, we received well over 2,000 bags and were able to make donations to Auckland City Mission, Women’s Refuge, Dressed for Success and the Red Cross. Let’s exceed that this number this holiday season.
