The film stars Emma Mackey (Sex Education, Death on the Nile) as Emily Brontë, a rebel and misfit finding her voice writing literary classic Wuthering Heights. It explores the relationships that inspired her including her raw, passionate sisterhoods with Charlotte and Anne, her first aching, and a forbidden love for William Weightman.
