Beyond the headlines

Jo Johnstone | UP Realestate

Because all things are not created equal in property, generalisations are not that helpful.

A property’s value is determined by a range of factors: some suburbs are preferred over others; a home’s layout and construction; its land size, connection to the outdoors, orientation to the sun; amenity value; and school zones – the list goes on. Consequently, the desirability of certain properties outweighs others. So, setting your expectations of what you may need to pay to secure a home based on headlines may not be helpful. Property with construction issues or features that compromise it on the other hand may need to be repriced in order to sell. Similarly, some market price ranges are more affected by interest rates than others.

Experience counts in a changing market. Our team includes those who have successfully navigated the local market since 1987. We want to help.
