Juxtaposing rough with smooth, fine with contemporary, Debra Fallowfield has been at the forefront of modern jewellery in New Zealand for nearly 20 years.
Using age-old traditions such as forging, wax carving, piercing, soldering and fusing, Debra impeccably crafts her jewellery entirely by hand specialising in solid bold, custom-made pieces that are as unique as the destined wearer’s fingerprint.
Her distinctive work makes a refreshing change in a jewellery market saturated with cheap mass-produced replicas and is highly sort after by collectors worldwide.
Debra carries a strong ethical consciousness throughout her practice, sourcing the majority of her gold from one-man boutique mines on the rugged West Coast of New Zealand. All her diamonds and gems are fair trade and Debra is also an ambassador for Charles & Colvard moissanite.
Debra welcomes appointments at her Port Chalmers showroom (15 minutes from Central Dunedin) and works with clients across New Zealand and the globe.
