That’s why the mixologists at Seaside Auckland and PECS coffee teamed up to create the summer cocktail of your dreams! Dare we say, you can have your coffee fix and protein fix in one go while enjoying a cocktail on Auckland’s enthralling waterfront, or from the comfort of your own deck! Whatever floats your boat.
PECS Coffee contains 35% protein with each serving, and was created after two years of research by Auckland University. New Zealand’s first and only protein coffee, this is not a coffee flavoured protein powder, but coffee that has protein in it.
Dreamy right? Here’s the recipe to get your taste buds dancing:
- 30ml PECS coffee
- 30ml Kahula
- 30ml Vanilla vodka
- 120ml Cream
- 15ml Simple Syrup
- Ground nutmeg or PECS coffee for garnish
- 1 Coupe glass
- 2 Boston shakers
- Level coupe glass with ice to chill.
- Add PECS coffee, Kahlua and vanilla vodka to Boston shaker and level with ice. Shake until chilled and double strain into pre-chilled coupe glass.
- Add Simple Syrup and cream to clean Boston shaker and shake. Add to coupe glass to thicken the top layer of the cocktail.
