This raw caramel slice is simply delicious, keeps well in the fridge or freezer and just one piece instantly satisfies even the most severe sweet cravings. The nutrients it supplies to the body makes giving up sugar easy and nourishes your body in the process.


Caco butter and powder are high in magnesium, iron and good fats. Brazil nuts contain selenium to support thyroid health.



  • 200g cacao butter melted on low heat (to keep raw)
  • 1/3 cup cacao powder
  • 1 tablespoon of honey


Blend together, pour half into a lined dish and place this base in the freezer to set. Keep other half aside for topping. Keep melted by placing the bowl its in warm water.



  • 1 cup of dates (soaked in hot water for 5 mins)
  • 1/2 cup of peanut butter or almond butter (or seed butter if wanting nut free)
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon of natural vanilla paste
  • 1/2 cup melted coconut oil


  1. Blend till caramelised.
  2. Pour caramel layer over set base.
  3. Add 1 1/2 cups of brazil nuts soaked overnight (also great with almonds/macadamias or seeds if nut free) roughly chopped and sprinkled over caramel layer.
  4. Pour remaining chocolate over brazil nuts and place in fridge to set.
  5. Slice and serve.
  6. Keeps well in fridge or freezer.
