Your favourite cocktail to make?

With this chilly Auckland weather it would have to be the Miss Plum. One of our epic house cocktails, it’s a fresh plum and cinnamon reduction paired with Appleton Estate rum and brought to life with sparkling water.

The best vegetarian meal on your menu?

If we’re sharing it’s the green tahini hummus with broad beans, candied pine nuts and crisp flat bread. If we’ve had a few wines and want something just for us the Pocket Toastie is a go to – melted Taleggio cheese, portobello mushrooms and zucchini flowers.

 

Can you take a dog into the bar?

Absolutely. We have a spacious open deck which is perfect for well behaved dogs.

 

What makes a great bartender?

Someone who is friendly, shares some knowledge and remembers what you’re drinking when you return for another.
