Free Sunday Morning Yoga
Come along Sundays 10.15am to 11.15am to the Ponsonby Community Centre, and remember to bring your own yoga mat! There’s a $2 gold coin donation; so bring your friends and a water bottle, and enjoy a fantastic experience stretching away all the worries of the week. Nike+ Run Club
Located on 30 Te Ara Tahuhu Walkway, start off at the Britomart Nike store and set off down various urban routes. You can choose from a 5km or 10km run, going through The Strand, Wellington Street, Silo Park, there’s no limit, you’ll go all round Auckland. Stretching begins at 5.30pm for a 6pm start on Mondays and Wednesdays, and if you’d rather an early start you can opt for the 9am spot on Saturdays. Running together on Tuesdays at 6pm, come join the Adidas running club and get fit! This club meets up at Platinum Sports Co. Victoria Park Market, so come along and get ready for a great time led by experienced instructors! Golden Yogi at Takapuna holds weekly community yoga classes. If you’re free on Sundays, come along to a Vinyasa Flow class from 11.30am – 12.45pm. If you can’t make that, pop by the Kundalini class on Wednesdays from 11am-12pm. The best part is that these two classes have a $5 donation, which goes towards the Yoga Education in Prisons Trust!
Lululemon’s Sunday Sweat Session
Pop by a Lululemon store in Takapuna, Ponsonby or Britomart every Sunday, 8.30am-9.30am, to get a good workout going. This complimentary yoga session gives you no excuses to bail, as they provide you with mats! So, come along to your local store and feel fitter every week. Bodytech – Small Group Fitness
These small group fitness classes are designed to give you a better quality workout by providing more supervision to a smaller class. The best part is – the classes are free! Book your spot by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. You’ll have to bring a sweat towel and water bottle, and remember to only book under your own name.
